HR Specialist/Manager

1. The position goal:

The job involves providing HR support to Alkaloid’s operations in Ukraine by participating in recruiting, developing training programmes, recommending and implementing HR activities, policies and procedures in order to ensure efficient and sustainable team of the company;

2. Candidate profile:

  • 3-5 years experience in an HR generalist/specialist function, preferable in the pharmaceutical sector
  • Practical broad experience in all HR related functions especially in selection and recruitment, training and development
  • University degree (preferably in / related to Human Resources, Psychology or Business Administration)
  • Fluent Ukrainian and fluent English language (written and spoken)
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office package
  • Mature personality, proactive, autonomous, strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to comprehend business challenges and translate them into actual HR activities
  • Able to build strong business relations across the division in Ukraine and the company’s HQs;

3. Position requirements

  • Generally carries responsibility for all operative HR related activities such as recruitment, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance appraisals, motivational tools, employ retention process, employee relations etc. for the Alkaloid small team in Ukraine
  • Leads the recruitment and hiring process in a timely and cost efficient manner for achieving company’s goals
  • Creates a training and development plan, assesses training needs and organizes trainings: internal and with external providers.
  • Implements relevant HR procedures locally (such as: selection and recruitment, reporting, employee dismissal, exit interviews, new employee orientation)

2. Position in the company:

2.1. Immediate superior: Executive Manager Alkaloid Kiev, close coordination and reporting directly to Human Resources Manager Alkaloid AD Skopje, and if requested with Regional Director Ukrainian market

2.2. Immediate subordinates: N/A

2.3. Duration of appointment:

  • probation period: from 01st April, 2011 till 01st October, 2011

2.4. Salary range: negotiable

3. Job description – scope and purpose of the position:

The job involves providing HR support to Alkaloid’s operations in Ukraine by participating in recruiting, developing training programmes, recommending and implementing HR activities, policies and procedures in order to ensure efficient and sustainable team of the company.

3.1 Key Responsibilities:

  • Generally carries responsibility for all operative HR related activities such as recruitment, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance appraisals, motivational tools, employ retention process, employee relations etc. for the Alkaloid small team in Ukraine
  • Leads the recruitment and hiring process in a timely and cost efficient manner for achieving company’s goals
  • Creates a training and development plan, assesses training needs and organizes trainings: internal and with external providers.
  • Implements relevant HR procedures locally (such as: selection and recruitment, reporting, employee dismissal, exit interviews, new employee orientation)
  • Establish the employees’ job descriptions in coordination with the line managers
  • Makes improvements to the controlling / reporting system and ensures clear and transparent two-way communication with local company and regular reporting to headquarters
  • Analyzes the compensation and benefit schemes and suitability according to market conditions and business strategy
  • Involvement in Adhering to local legislation, respecting the Alkaloid Corporate polices, principles, values and “Code of ethical and corporate conduct” guidelines; protecting all company valuables

3.2 Reporting line:

3.2.1 For all issues reporting to Executive Manager of Alkaloid Ukraine, directly to Human Resources Manager of Alkaloid AD Skopje, and if required to Regional Director for Ukrainian Market

3.3 Performance Assessment

All elements mentioned above will be assessed in the yearly performance

review as a complement to the specific bonus relevant objectives

4. Required candidate qualifications:
